Beatriz Braga had 12 kills,
Clara Bal had 10 kills with no hitting errors, and
Constanza Perez Sain added 11 kills as the Hofstra volleyball team used a balanced attack to easily dispatch of Hampton on Friday afternoon at Holland Hall.
The win was Hofstra's fourth straight, all in sweeps, and improved the Pride's record to 13-2 overall and 6-2 in the league. Hampton dropped to 1-17 and 0-8 in the CAA. Set scores were 25-11, 25-15, and 25-13.
Hofstra tallied a .487 attack percentage in the match with just six attack errors in the contest. They were equally as strong defensively, holding Hampton to a .079 attack percentage including a negative .120 in the first stanza.
Nina Jioshvili-Ravva had 35 assists, seven digs, four kills, and three blocks for the Pride, which also got five blocks and three kills from
Lilia Duczek.
Nil Kayaalp led Hofstra with nine digs.
Katerina Pappa posted eight kills and eight digs for the Pirates, which also got seven kills from Gabriella Prather.
Hofstra will be back in action next Friday when it hosts Stony Brook at 6 p.m.

- Hofstra improved to 6-0 all-time against Hampton. All six meetings have occurred as conference rivals.
- Braga led Hofstra in kills for her team-leading eighth time.
- Braga was in double figures in kills for the 10th time and Bal and Perez Sain for the seventh time each.
