Tori Bien was selected to represent the Pride at the 2024 NCAA Career in Sports Forum held at the NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, from May 30-June 2, 2024.
The four-day event brought together over 180 student-athletes from across the nation to explore career opportunities in sports, specifically in college athletics. Attendees had the opportunity to network with their peers and learn from industry professionals about the various careers they can pursue in the sports industry and identify valuable personal strengths for those career opportunities.
The forum included numerous networking events and personal and professional skill development opportunities. Emphasized throughout the event was need to be self-aware and easily adaptable to be successful with a career in sports.
"The Career in Sports Forum was an incredibly insightful experience that taught me so much about possible careers in sports and the lasting impact of going into this field," mentioned Bien. "It was a great privilege to have been selected to represent Hofstra University and the Hofstra Athletics department at the NCAA Headquarters."
