Hamburg, NJ - The Hofstra women's golf team tied with Fairfield University for second place after a three-round score of 934 (+70) at the FDU Invitational on Monday afternoon. Hofstra's
Cynthia Zhao finished in third place, while
Savannah Weyrauch finished tied for fourth after three-rounds at the Crystal Springs Country Club in Hamburg, New Jersey.
Zhao shot a third round 75 (+3), finishing at 223 (+7), while Weyrauch shot a final round 76 (+4) to finish at 225 (+9).
Tori Bien tied for 28th at 243 (+27), after a final round score of 78 (+6).
Dominique Jimenez tied for 34th in the 83-player field at 245 (+29) after a third round 77 (+5), while the Pride's
Sadie Anderson tied for 59th at 258 (+42).
Quinnipiac took the team title with 904 (+40), while their golfers led the individual titles. Quinnipiac's Leeyen Peralta finished in first at 216 (E) and Aimee Uchida placed second at 219 (+3).
The Hofstra women's golf team compete next at the Coastal Athletic Association Championship beginning on April 12 in Southport, North Carolina.
