Storrs, CT - Hofstra scored three runs in the second inning but the Huskies answered with 10 in their turn at bat and went on to post a 14-3 victory over the Pride Wednesday at Elliot Ballpark. The Huskies improved to 22-18 with their fifth consecutive victory. Hofstra is 14-27.

Dom Camera had an RBI double and
Dylan Palmer added a two-run single for the Pride. Maddix Dalena went 3-3 with a double, a home run, and three RBIs for the Huskies. Korey Morton also had three hits and drove in three runs for Connecticut.

Penn Sealey (0-4) started and gave up 10 runs (9 earned) on six hits in two innings to take the loss. Garrett Coe (6-5) picked up the win, allowing three unearned runs over three innings.

Hofstra is back in action Friday when it hosts North Carolina A&T in the start of a CAA series at 2 p.m.Â
