Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's tennis team earned a massive 6-1 win over the Monmouth Hawks to end their regular season Sunday morning. The Pride improved to 8-10 and 3-3 against CAA opponents with the win, while the Hawks fell to 2-14 on the season and 0-5 in conference play.

Hofstra earned the doubles point following wins from Sabira Mohamed and Deniz Soyer at the No. 2 doubles slot and from Lea Forste-Dinell and Ava Veneziano at No. 3 doubles. The Pride swept singles play with wins from Forste-Dinell, Dianela Rodriguez, Kaitlyn Ferguson, Soyer and Mohamed in the first five singles spots.

The Pride begin play at the Coastal Athletic Association Championship on Wednesday, April 24 in Elon, North Carolina.
