Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's tennis team defeated Wagner College 4-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Hofstra Tennis Courts. The Pride moved to 6-9 with the win, while Wagner dropped to 6-12 on the season.

The Pride secured the doubles point from wins by Lea Forste-Dinell/Ava Veneziano and Deniz Soyer/Sabira Mohamed. Hofstra added three more wins in singles play to clinch the 4-1 victory over Wagner. 

Hofstra is back in action on Saturday, April 6, at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
