Hofstra Places 9th At Kingsmill Intercollegiate

Williamsburg, VA - Hofstra concluded play Tuesday afternoon at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary. In the third round, the Pride shot a 327 (+39) to finish 9th out of 10 teams with a three-round score of 1007 (+143). The tournament was played at the par-72, 6,017-yard Kingsmill Resort River Course. 

Savannah Weyrauch, the top finisher for the Pride, tied for 15th at 239 (+23). Weyrauch had rounds of 84-77-78. Cynthia Zhao tied for 33rd at 246 (+30) with rounds of 87-81-78. Sadie Anderson placed 48th in the 58-player field with a 260 (+44) following rounds of 90-86-84, while Tori Bien tied for 49th at 262 (+46) with rounds of 92-83-87. Natalie Moody placed 54th with a 282 (+66) following rounds of 94-97-91.

Christy Chen of Boston University won the individual championship with a 222 (+6). BU took the team title with a three-round score of 927 (+63). 

Hofstra returns to action April 7-8 at the Farleigh Dickinson University Invitational at Crystal Springs Golf Club in Hamburg, New Jersey.
