Josh Reynolds defeated their opponents, but the Pride failed to secure the doubles point.
At No. 1 singles, Kovalenko bested Daniel Zhou 7-5, 6-1, while Reynolds defeated Jake Huarte 6-4, 6-4 in the second singles spot. With the loss the Pride dropped to 3-8 on the season, while Army advanced to 7-9.
Hofstra will be back in action on Tuesday, March 19 at Norfolk State in Norfolk, Virginia.
