Hofstra Tripped Up At Army

Box Score West Point, NY - Hofstra men's tennis fell to Army 4-2 Sunday morning in West Point, New York. Two matches went unfinished while Ostap Kovalenko and Josh Reynolds defeated their opponents, but the Pride failed to secure the doubles point. 

At No. 1 singles, Kovalenko bested Daniel Zhou 7-5, 6-1, while Reynolds defeated Jake Huarte 6-4, 6-4 in the second singles spot. With the loss the Pride dropped to 3-8 on the season, while Army advanced to 7-9.

Hofstra will be back in action on Tuesday, March 19 at Norfolk State in Norfolk, Virginia.
