Box Score Newark, Del. - The Hofstra women's tennis team fell to the Delaware Blue Hens 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, Hofstra drops to 4-6 on the season and 1-1 in CAA play. The Blue Hens advance to 2-0 in conference play and are 11-5 overall. 

Delaware defeated the Pride in all three doubles matches to earn the point and earned five singles wins in straight sets. 

Dianela Rodriguez was the only member of the Pride to defeat her opponent. She bested Delaware's Eliza Askarova 7-5, 6-4. 

Hofstra is back in action on Saturday, March 16, at Drexel.
