New York, NY - The Hofstra women's tennis team opened play at the Columbia Quad Saturday morning against Appalachian State University. The Mountaineers swept the Pride in singles and doubles play from Columbia's Philip & Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center in New York, New York, on the second day of competition. 

The Columbia Quad continues on Sunday with Hofstra facing Columbia at 1 p.m.
