Philadelphia, PA - The Hofstra men's tennis team fell 5-2 to the Drexel Dragons on Saturday at the Vidas Courts. This was Hofstra's first conference match of the season, moving them to 0-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
Josh Reynolds and
Kaita Odani posted a 7-5 victory over Drexel's Kirakosov and Burridge in No. 3 doubles, but the Dragons won the doubles point.
In singles play,
Ostap Kovalenko bounced back after falling in the first set of the No. 2 match to defeat El Tawil, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.
Matthew Garcia defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-1 to win the No. 4 singles match.
The Pride takes on Marist on Sunday, February 4, in Poughkeepsie, New York, at 5 p.m.
