Hofstra Back In Action At Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University wrestling team is back in action Friday and Saturday at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational. The event is one of the most competitive of the season, featuring some of the top names in the sport. The Pride will have nine wrestlers competing.

The Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational will be streamed on FloWrestling with live brackets available on FloArena. Action gets underway at 12 p.m. (EST) Friday and 1 p.m. (EST) Saturday. Links for the broadcast and the brackets are available above or on the wrestling schedule page of GoHofstra.com.

The Hofstra contingent is led by nationally-ranked 184-pounder Ross McFarland. The graduate student, who is 6-1 on the season and ranked No. 29 by InterMat, earned a number 9 preseed at the CKLVI. Also competing for Hofstra will be Dylan Acevedo-Switzer (125), Chase Liardi (149), Justin Hoyle (141), Noah Tapia (149), Jurius Clark (157), Kyle Mosher (165), Nikolas Miller (197), and Danny Church (285). 

Following their return from Las Vegas, the Pride will return to action on December 21 with matches at Columbia (11 a.m.), Nassau Community College (4 p.m.), and Morgan State (at Nassau CC - 6 p.m.).
