Hempstead, NY - For the second consecutive year, a pair of Pride basketball student-athletes will join the broadcast crew for upcoming games. 

Junior guard Alarice Gooden of the women's basketball team will join the broadcast team on Thursday, January 23, 2025 when the men's basketball team takes on Delaware at 7 p.m. That game will air on MSGSN and FloCollege. 

Senior guard German Plotnikov of the men's basketball team will join the broadcast team on Sunday, January 12, 2025 when the women's basketball team takes on Drexel at 2 p.m. That game will air on MSG2 and FloCollege. 

It will be a three-person crew for both games as the duo will join Hofstra's regular broadcast crew of Dan Savarino (play-by-play) and Will Thompson (analyst). 

Gooden, a journalism major, has played in 66 career games over three seasons for the Pride. 

Plotnikov, now working towards his master's in business administration, has played in 76 games for Hofstra.
