Matthew Garcia and senior
Josh Reynolds would serve as the team captains for the Pride in the 2024-25 season.
"I am very excited to have Josh and Matt step up to lead our team this year," said Shuren. "Their unique strengths complement each other, creating a balanced leadership dynamic that inspires the entire team."
Garcia, a senior from Muntinlupa, Philippines, has played in over 65 singles matches and over 50 doubles matches for the Pride. In his career at Hofstra, Garcia has had 31 singles victories and 21 doubles victories. He has also repeatedly been named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and to the Coastal Athletic Association Commissioner's Academic and Hofstra Athletic Director Scholars Honor Rolls.
Reynolds, a senior from Surrey, United Kingdom, has played in over 60 singles and doubles matches during his time with the Pride. He has had 34 singles victories and 32 doubles victories in his collegiate career. Throughout his four years at Hofstra, Reynolds has received numerous academic accolades, including being named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and to the CAA Commissioner's Academic and Hofstra Athletic Director Scholars Honor Rolls.
