Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra volleyball team continued its winning ways with a convincing 3-0 win versus Northeastern, pushing the Pride's winning streak to seven games. The set scores were 25-20, 25-18, and 27-25 from the David S. Mack Physical Education Center.
Hofstra's record improves to 11-6 overall and 7-1 in the CAA, and Northeastern slips to 7-9 overall and 5-3 against league opponents.
Izadora Stedile posed 18 digs and 11 kills, while
Clara Bal totaled a team-leading 12 kills against the Huskies, and
Constanza Perez Sain finished with 10 kills to give the Pride three players in double-figures.
Iyanna Garvin contributed six kills and three block assists in the win, and
Chiara Cucco served up four service aces. The Pride finished the match with 41 assists, with 22 coming from
Beatriz Alves and 17 from
Ellie Pamatat.
Georgia Stavrinides led Northeastern with nine kills and four block assists against the Pride. Nadia Koanui posted 14 digs for the Huskies, and Carly Cooper assisted on 10 Northeastern kills.
The Pride travels to Wilmington, North Carolina for its next series against UNCW, beginning on Saturday, October 19, at 4 p.m.

-Hofstra is now 51-18 all-time against Northeastern.
