Hempstead, NY - A pair of Hofstra basketball student-athletes,
Sorelle Ineza and
Jacco Fritz, will make the switch to the other side of a broadcast this week as they join the television crew for a pair of games.
Ineza, a member of the women's basketball team, will be on the broadcast on Thursday when the Pride men's basketball team takes on Stony Brook at 7 p.m. Fritz, a member of the men's basketball team, will join the broadcast for Sunday's Pride women's basketball game against Delaware at 2 p.m.
Thursday's game will air on MSGSN and FloHoops, while Sunday's game will air on MSG and FloHoops.
It will be a three-person crew for both games as the duo will join Hofstra's regular television crew of Kevin Dexter (play-by-play) and Dan Savarino (analyst).
Ineza, a graduate student majoring in public relations, is in her fifth season at Hofstra. This season she is averaging 8.5 points per game with 18 games played. Ineza has 816 points in 100 career games with the Pride.
Fritz, a graduate student majoring in sustainability, is in his first season at Hofstra after transferring from Canisius. He has played in 19 games this season and is averaging 6.4 points per game.
