New Haven, CT - Ostap Kovalenko and Jonathan Mahrt Guyou posted a 7-5 victory over Velek and Sood while Josh Reynolds and Kaita Odani defeating Brown and Arakaki 6-4, but Quinnipiac took four of the six singles matches in a 4-3 victory. Hofstra slipped to 0-1 on the season, while Quinnipiac moved to 1-1.

In singles play, Maxim Michaels posted a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Sood and Kaita Odani defeated Nyaradi 6-3, 7-5.
