Hempstead, NY - Take a nap, grab a cup of coffee - but be sure to be ready at 9 p.m. on Monday when the Hofstra men's basketball team travels east to face Stony Brook. 

The Battle Of Long Island - CAA Edition will air nationally on the CBS Sports Network from Island Federal Arena.

Hofstra is 9-9 overall and 2-3 in the league following a come-from-behind 86-77 win over Hampton this past Thursday. Hofstra put five players in double figures in the contest, led by 27 points and 10 rebounds from Darlinstone Dubar. 

Stony Brook has an identical record as the Pride after most recently dropping a 71-68 contest at Delaware on Thursday. Tyler Stephenson-Moore led the Seawolves with 15 points. 

Monday is the 33rd all-time meeting between Hofstra and Stony Brook in men's basketball. The Pride holds a commanding 26-6 lead in the all-time series. Hofstra has won two straight and seven of the last eight meetings between the teams.
