Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will play the first of three straight games on Long Island when the Pride hosts Hampton on Thursday.
Tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Hofstra is 8-9 and 1-3 in league play following a narrow 69-68 loss to Campbell on Saturday down in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
Darlinstone Dubar posted 21 points and 14 rebounds in the game, while
Tyler Thomas had 23 points.
Hampton is 4-13 and 0-5 in the CAA. The Pirates most recently dropped an 81-80 decision at home to North Carolina A&T on Monday evening. Jordan Nesbitt and Jerry Deng each tallied 17 points and five rebounds in the game.
Thursday's game is the third-ever meeting between Hofstra and Hampton. The Pride won both meetings a season ago.
