Beatriz Braga had 12 kills and
Clara Bal added 11 kills for the Pride, but the Hofstra volleyball team fell in three tight sets to Towson on Saturday afternoon at the David S. Mack Physical Education Building.
Set scores were 19-25, 22-25, and 22-25.
Hofstra slips to 13-3 and 3-2 in CAA play with the loss. Towson improved to 11-4 and 4-1 in the league.
Sarah Pierre and
Emilly Nunes each added six kills in the match, while
Nil Kayaalp posted a match-high 15 digs.
Beatriz Alves tallied 33 assists for the Pride.
Victoria Barrett had 13 kills, while Irbe Lazda added 10 for the Tigers.
Hofstra and Towson will conclude the series with a Sunday match at 1 p.m. Admission is free to attend all Pride home matches. The match will also air on FloVolleyball.
