Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's cross country team returns to action this Friday, September 15, by hosting the Hofstra Invitational against St. Peter's from the Hofstra Intramural Fields. The women's 5K race will commence at 10:25 a.m.
 
The race will be streamed live on FloTrack, and elitefeats will provide live race results. These links, as well as a course map for Friday's race, can be found on this page and the women's cross country schedule page on GoHofstra.com.
 
The Pride kicked off its 2023 campaign at the LIU Fall Festival in Brookville, New York last Saturday. Jackalynn Orellana led the way for the Hofstra women by finishing 39th with a time of 20:36.8, a new personal best time in a 5K cross country race for Orellana. As a team, the Pride finished ninth with 269 points in the 14-team field.
 
In addition to Orellana, head coach Vincent Giambanco announced that Amanda Hinojos, Jordyn McDonnell, Allison Reid, Samantha Szabo, and Leslie Villafuerte Castro will be running for Hofstra against St. Peter's.
