"I'm very proud of the team for how they battled and kept their focus all tournament long," said head coach
Matt Ragovin. "They didn't have a true practice round because of the heavy rain, but it was a great experience for them to kick off the season. Being the low team score for the second round really shows their level of tournament experience, led by our captains Savannah and Cynthia placing in the top 5."
Fairfield held the team title at 621 (+45), with Franklin Pierce falling in second. Franklin Pierce's Kesinee Prukmathakul was the individual medalist, finishing with a 144.
Hofstra is back in action on Monday, September 18 at the Hornet Invitational at Kings Creek Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
