Hofstra Blanked By Stony Brook

Stony Brook, NY - Stony Brook women's tennis swept Hofstra in a Colonial Athletic Association match Wednesday. The Seawolves won five of the six singles flights in straight sets and took the doubles point as well.

In the one match the went three sets, the Pride's Jimena Gabino posted a 6-0 win in the first set of the No. 1 singles flight against Loreto Villalba-Rubio. However, the Stony Brook graduate student rebounded with a 6-4 win in set two and a 10-4 win in the third set. 

Hofstra is back in action Saturday at home versus Drexel.
