Oceanside, NY - Hofstra won the doubles point and five of six singles matches to post a 6-1 victory over Towson Saturday evening at Point Set Indoor. The win improved Hofstra's record to 2-6 on the season and 1-1 in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Kaitlyn Ferguson rallied from a set down at No. 5 singles to win the final two sets, 6-4 and 6-3, to clinch the match for the Pride. The match was tightly contested as five of the singles flights went three sets with Hofstra prevailing in four of them. 

Hofstra is back in action Friday, March 24, versus UNCW at Point Set Indoor. Start time is 4 p.m.
