Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team, winners of nine consecutive games, will look to extend the win streak into double digits on Saturday when the Pride travels east to face Stony Brook.
Tip-off from Island Federal Arena is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

It was all Hofstra on Thursday in the Pride's 73-43 win over Hampton that not only extended the win streak to nine games, but improved Hofstra's record to 21-8 overall and 14-2 in Colonial Athletic Association play. The Pride placed three players in double figures as
Aaron Estrada had 21 points,
Tyler Thomas added 13 and
Warren Williams chipped in with 12.
Jaquan Carlos tallied 10 rebounds and eight assists.
The Pride will be looking to extend the win streak to 10 on Saturday and join elite company in program history. The current win streak is tied for the 12th-longest in program history and there are only 11 streaks of 10 or more games in school history. The current streak is the longest for the program since the 2018-19 team won 16 consecutive games.
Stony Brook is 10-18 overall and 6-9 in the CAA. The Seawolves earned a 71-66 overtime victory over William & Mary on Thursday. Tyler Stephenson-Moore had 17 points for Stony Brook in the game, while Frankie Policelli added 13 points and 10 rebounds.
This will mark the 32nd all-time meeting in the series between Hofstra and Stony Brook with the Pride holding a commanding 25-6 lead in the series. Hofstra has won six of the last seven in the series, including a 79-58 victory over the Seawolves back on February 4 in Hempstead.
