Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University men's tennis doubles team of Matthew Garcia and Josh Reynolds was named the Colonial Athletic Association Doubles Team of the Week following their strong performance in two matches last week. 
 
Garcia and Reynolds went 2-0 at No. 2 doubles to help Hofstra post team victories over Quinnipiac (4-3) and LIU (4-0) last weekend. The Pride duo beat QU's Ayato Arakaki and Donovan Brown, 6-3, and topped LIU's Gui Medeiros and Ales D'Anna, 6-2. Garcia also contributed a pair of singles victories over the weekend and Reynolds won his lone singles match against QU. The wins improved their overall record to 3-3 on the season.

Hofstra is back in action Wednesday versus St. John's.
