Philadelphia, PA - Hofstra's men's tennis team completed their fall season with the conclusion of the Dragon Invitational, hosted by the Drexel Dragons this past weekend. Hofstra competed against Drexel, NJIT and Monmouth on Saturday and Sunday. 

Ostap Kovalenko won his match against Hussein El Tawil of Drexel on Saturday. Kovalenko won 6-7 (5), 7-6 (4), 10-3, while also being undefeated in doubles play with his partner Jonathan Mahrt Guyou.

On Saturday against NJIT, Mahrt Guyou defeated Severin Risan in singles play 7-6 (4), 3-6, 10-8. Josh Reynolds also defeated Rablo Salar Carrera 4-6, 6-1, 10-6. 

Against Monmouth on Sunday, Hofstra failed to pick up a win in both singles and doubles play, but Hideki Matsuoka defeated NJIT's Severin Risan in two sets 6-4, 7-6 (4).
