Cynthia Zhao shot a 78 (+6) and is tied for 5th-place after the first round of the Monmouth Hawk Fall Invitational at Eagle Ridge Golf Club Saturday. Hofstra is third in the five-team field after one round.
Zhao is in a two way tie for 11th place, while
Savannah Weyrauch shot a 79 (+7) and is tied for 7th-place.
Kaylie Porter shot an 92 (+10) and is tied for 12th-place in the 26-player field.
Sadie Anderson shot an 85 (+13) and is tied for 15th-place.
Dominique Jimenez shot an 87 (+15) and is 19th after the first round.
As a team, Hofstra scored a first round 324 (+36) and sits four shots behind the Monmouth Hawks who are in second. UAlbany leads the field at 292 (+4), followed by Monmouth at 320 (+32). UAlbany's Malene Clausen is the individual leader after shooting a 68 (-4).
The final round of the Monmouth Hawk Fall Invitational tees off Sunday at 11:30am.
