Savannah Weyrauch shot a final round 79 (+7) and finished tied for sixth at the Navy Fall Invitational at the Naval Academy Golf Course Sunday. Weyrauch led Hofstra to finish tied for sixth as a team in the 15-school field.
Weyrauch finished with a two-round score of 154 (+10) and finished tied for sixth in the 88-player field.
Dominique Jimenez tied for 19th-place after a final round 78 (+6).
Cynthia Zhao finished tied for 22nd-place following a final round 82 (+10).
Tori Bien shot a final round 84 (+12) and finished tied for 55th, while
Claire Galante finished tied for 79th after shooting a final round 91 (+14) on Sunday.
Hofstra recorded a two-round team score of 629 (+83) to place sixth. Navy won the team title with a two-round score of 607, while Towson falls just six strokes off the lead in second. Navy's Mara Hirtle was the individual medalist, finishing with a 146 (+2). Towson's Madison Barber, who lead after the first round, dropped one spot to claim second at 147 (+3).
Hofstra is back in action on Saturday, October 14 at the Monmouth Hawk Invitational at Eagle Ridge Golf Club.
