Hempstead, NY – The 2022 Hofstra men's cross country season will kick off this Friday, September 9, at the LIU Fall Festival, hosted by LIU.

The men's 8K race will be streamed live on NEC FrontRow at 4:45 p.m., following the conclusion of the women's 5K race. This link can be found on this page and the schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

The Pride returns to the course after a 2021 season that saw them finish fourth at the CAA Championship. Returning CAA Male Cross Country Rookie of the Year Zach Van Houten is back to lead the line for Hofstra, and he is joined by 2020 All-CAA runner Paul Markovina, as well as Michael Silveri and Aiden Willey. Head Cross Country Coach Vincent Giambanco also added a pair of freshmen to the 2022 roster, as Brian Beck and Abraham Longosiwa will make their collegiate debuts this Friday.

Following Friday's race, the Pride will host Saint Peter's from the Hofstra Intramural Fields on September 16. The race will be streamed live on FloTrack.
