Hempstead, NY – Hofstra women's outdoor track distance runners

Jordyn McDonnell, and
Morgan Serkes will be making the trip to Solomon Outdoor Track Stadium in Dedham, Massachusetts for the two-day 2022 Colonial Athletic Association Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7.
Serkes will run in Friday's 1500m trials at 1 p.m., while Masciarelli will run in the 10,000m at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, and McDonnell will compete in the 3000m Steeplechase on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. All track & field results at the CAA Championships will be available through ScullionsTiming. Serkes has represented Hofstra in four 1500m races this season, finishing first at the Stony Brook Snowflake Classic on March 19 and the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational on April 23, and placing second at the Metropolitan Championships on April 9. Her best time of the season came at the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational, where she led the field for the entire race and crossed the finish line at 4:39.72.
McDonnell has competed in two steeplechase races for the Pride in the outdoor track season, placing in the top five both times. She took first place in the 2000m Steeplechase at the Sam Howell Invitational on April 2, and finished fifth in the 3000m Steeplechase at the Virginia Challenge on April 22.
Masciarelli has ran in just one outdoor 10,000m race this season, but she earned a second-place finish at the Metropolitan Championships on April 8. Her time at Icahn Stadium was 38:32.19, putting her sixth among 10,000m runners in the CAA.
