Mayaank Gally each shot 76 (+4) on day two of the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Golf Championship at the Dataw Island Club's Cotton Dike Course. Hofstra shot a 305 (+17) as a team and remains in eighth place at 623 (+47).
Capazario remains Hofstra's top scorer with a two-round 153 (+9) and is in 36th-place. Giamanco is tied for 38th-place at 156 (+12). Galley, who subbed for
Mack Giles, had his score count for the Pride's team round but is not eligible to place in the 45-player field.
Vincent Apostolico shot a 77 (+5) Monday and is in 41st-place at 159 (+15).
Jaxon Hummel had an 86 (+14) Monday and is 43rd at 165 (+21).
Nevill Ruiter of Charleston shot a 65 (-7) Monday and is the overall leader at 133 (-11). Teammate Kieron van Wyk is second at 136 (-8) following a second round 67 (-5).
Charleston also leads the team competition at 555 (-21). UNCW is second at 564 (-12) with Drexel third at 573 (-3). Delaware and Elon are tied for fourth at 582 (+6) followed by Towson in sixth at 590 (+14). William & Mary is seventh at 602 (+26).
The third and final round of the CAA Championship gets underway Tuesday at 8 a.m.
