Wilmington, DE - Josh Reynolds posted Hofstra's lone victory of the match as the Pride dropped a 6-1 Colonial Athletic Association match to Delaware Friday afternoon.

Hofstra slipped to 3-4 overall and 0-1 in league play with the loss while the Blue Hens improved to 4-6 overall and 1-0 in the CAA with the win.

Delaware won the doubles point, taking the first and second flights. The Blue Hens then won four of fve singles flights in straight sets. Ostap Kovalenko fell in three sets at No. 1 singles and Reynolds came awy with the win in three sets at No. 6 over Tobias Sonne (7-6, 4-6, 10-7).

Hofstra is back in action Sunday at Brown with a 3 p.m match time.
