Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will begin a regular season-closing three games in five days stretch when it hosts Elon on Thursday evening.
Tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will also air on SNY. Dan Savarino and Mark Weiner will have the call.

Zach Cooks posted 12 points and scored the game winner with 8.6 seconds left as Hofstra scored the game's final 11 points to capture the improbable victory. The Pride has won six straight games. It is their longest win streak since an eight-game win streak from January 25-February 22, 2020.
Hofstra will be looking for win #20 on Thursday, which would be the 24th season of at least 20 wins in program history and the 15th at the NCAA Division I level.
Elon is 8-21 and 5-11 in league action, having dropped four straight games. The Phoenix most recently dropped a 71-60 decision to Drexel on Saturday despite 31 points from Darius Burford.
Hofstra is 11-4 all-time against Elon, including a 97-64 Pride win last week down in North Carolina. The teams met once last season with the Phoenix capturing a win in the semifinals of the CAA Championship. Prior to that meeting, the Pride had won five consecutive meetings in the series. The first-ever meeting between the teams occurred during the 2009-10 campaign with Hofstra earning a 70-46 win in the NIT Season Tip-Off as the squads met prior to becoming conference rivals.
