Zach Van Houten qualified for the IC4A Championship with a terrific performance in the 5000m at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University inside the BU Track and Tennis Center.
The CAA Cross Country Male Rookie of the Year, Van Houten completed the 5000m race in a time of 14:41.54 to qualify him for the 2022 IC4A/ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championship on March 4-6 from the BU Track and Tennis Center.
Paul Markovina also ran in the 5000m at the Valentine Invitational and posted a time of 15:00.11.
The Pride also competed at the Monmouth Winter Collegiate Invitational in West Long Branch, New Jersey on Saturday.
Nayan Chatterjee competed in both the 60m dash and the 200m, and he ran a 60m dash time of 7.57 and a 200m time of 25.68.
Andrew Giovinazzo set a new personal-best time in the Mile when he completed the race in 4:53.34.
Hofstra returns to action at the FastTrack Last Chance on February 18 in Staten Island, New York, followed by the West Point Tune-Up the next day in West Point, New York.
