Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will continue its stretch away from home on Thursday when it travels to Charleston. This is the second of three straight games away from home for the Pride.

Tip-off from TD Arena is slated for 7 p.m.

The game will air on FloHoops and WRHU (88.7 FM) will have an audio-only broadcast on the Hofstra Athletics Web Channel. Links to both broadcasts, as well as the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the men's basketball schedule page at GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra extended its win streak to three games and improved to 12-7 and 4-2 in Colonial Athletic Association play with a dominating 72-50 rout of Northeastern on Saturday. Graduate student Zach Cooks returned from an injury in a big way and led the way with 19 points, including the 2,000th of his career. Junior Aaron Estrada added 16 points, eight rebounds, and three assists, while sophomore Darlinstone Dubar chipped in with 10 points.

Estrada and Cooks are at the top of the scoring column this season for Hofstra as Estrada leads the way with 16.4 points per game and Cooks is second with 16.3. Estrada also leads the way with 4.9 assists per game. Redshirt senior Abayomi Iyiola is tops on the team with 8.5 rebounds per game and also adds 8.3 points per outing.

Charleston heads into the week with a 9-8 overall record and a 1-4 CAA mark following a narrow 95-94 loss to James Madison on Saturday. The Cougars will also face William & Mary on Tuesday before taking on the Pride.

John Meeks leads Charleston with 15.9 points per game with Rayne Smith ranking second on the team with 12.5 points per outing. Dimitrius Underwood leads the way with 6.9 rebounds per game and is also averaging 3.1 assists per game.

Thursday is the 15th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Charleston with the series knotted up at seven apiece. The series began when the Cougars joined the CAA in 2013-14. The teams did not meet last season and Hofstra heads into this meeting having won three of the last four encounters.
