Hempstead, NY - Mandisa Walle and Siman Desai each won their singles matches, but Hofstra fell to Fairfield, 5-2, Saturday at the Hofstra Tennis Courts. The Pride slipped to 0-3 on the season.

Walle rallied to defeat Francesca Karman, 5-7, 7-6, 10-7, at the No. 2 flight while Desai picked up her first collegiate victory with a win over Laina Campos at No. 4, 6-2, 1-6, 10-8.

Hofstra returns to action Monday at Siena.
