Box Score Philadelphia, PA - Hofstra won four of the six singles flights en route to a 4-3 victory over La Salle Sunday at the Legacy Tennis Center. Hofstra improved to 5-4 on the season while La Salle dipped to 2-8.

The Explorers won the doubles point with wins at the top two flights. The Hofstra tandem of Alvaro Arce Lopez-Sanchez and Guido Feldberg picked up a win over Brandon Caban and Dylan Tull, 6-1.

Lopez-Sanchez earned a singles win at No. 1 over Rogelio Gonzalez in three sets (2-6, 6-3, 6-2). Giacomo Pezzoli downed Connor Merrill, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles, while Yusuke Nishitani bested Caban, 6-4, 7-6 (4). Feldberg and Tull were tied at a set apiece when the La Salle player had to retire due to injury.

The Pride is back in action April 30 at the CAA Championship in Williamsburg, VA.
