RICHMOND, Va. – For the second time this season, freshman pointguard Sorelle Ineza has been named the Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week for the week ending February 2.
 
Ineza averaged 26.0 minutes on the floor for the Pride this week, scoring 8.5 points per game (tied for second on the team) from a 43 percent shooting effort from the floor. In addition, Ineza added 3.0 assists per game to go along with an average of 2.5 rebounds.
 
Ineza started off her week shooting 4-of-8 from the floor against UNCW for 11 points while adding two assists and one rebound. She went on to score six points against the College of Charleston on Sunday afternoon and also posted four assists and four rebounds.
 
For her freshman campaign thus far, Ineza averages 7.7 points per night for the Pride and leads the team with 62 assists, an average of 3.1 per game. Ineza is also a key contributor on the boards, grabbing 3.3 rebounds per contest.
