HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Hofstra women's track team is scheduled to compete on Saturday, February 22 at the Army West Point Tune-Up. The meet will take place at the Gillis Field House at the United States Military Academy.

60m: Megan Boese, Alex Cianciolo, Alexandra Conroy, Sarah El Bouzaidi, Leah Gath, Latoya Holmes, Sophia Masciarelli, Jordyn McDonnell, Emily Way
400m: Abby Briggs, Caroline Czerwonka, Grace Giannatsis, Dominique Milian
1 mile: Mie Hoff, Gianna Rinaldi, Kayla Stadeker, Alyssa Suits

The last time that the Hofstra women's track team competed was last week at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University. Only two Pride runners competed including McDonnell and Masciarelli. Both runners competed in the unseeded women's 5000m race and posted top-20 finishes for the second consecutive week.

In the 60m dash, Holmes looks to lead the way for the Pride, as she aims to beat her personal record of 8.47 seconds that she ran at the Fastrack Season Opener in December. Also posting times this season under 10 seconds are El Bouzaidi (8.92), McDonnell (9.43) and Cianciolo (9.70). Way will compete in the event for the first time in her career. The women's 60m dash preliminaries will take place at 12:12 p.m. and the finals will take place at 1:20 p.m.

Four Pride runners will compete in the 400m dash. Of the four, Czerwonka (1:15.62) and Giannatsis (1:16.88) are the only two that have competed in the race in their college careers. The women's 400m dash will take place at approximately 12:50 p.m.

Finally in the one-mile run, Hofstra has four entries. Rinaldi and Stadeker enter with seed times of 5:05.00, and Hoff has a seed time of 5:30.00. Suits will run in the mile for the first time in her career. The women's mile run will go off at approximately 12:35 p.m.
