Bethpage, NY - Hofstra won all six singles matches and all three doubles flights as the Pride swept Lafayette, 7-0, Sunday at Sportime in Bethpage.

Hofstra improved to 4-2 on the season with its second sweep of the weekend. Lafayette fell to 1-4.
The Pride swept doubles with
Alvaro Arce Lopez-Sanchez and
Jun Sasagawa picking up a 6-2 win over John Yurconic and Daniel Kramer at No. 1.
Shawn Jackson and
Ostap Kovalenko followed with a 6-3 win at No. 2 against Ross Coleman and Charles Keller.
Giacomo Pezzoli and
Kian Ziari defeated William Barry and Josh Wolfe, 6-3, at No. 3 to complete the doubles sweep.
Sasagawa started singles with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3 over Kramer. Kovalenko picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4 against Paul Caruso to make it a 3-0 Hofstra lead.
Shawn Jackson downed Barry in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 at No. 1 to clinch the match. Lopez Sanchez also had a three-set win against Yurconic, 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 at No. 2. With the match decided, the final two flights were played as eight game pro sets with
Jonathan Mahrt Guyou (No. 5) and Ziari (No. 6) each picking up wins.
Hofstra will be back in action Tuesday afternoon against Sacred Heart at 1 p.m. The match will take place at Sportime in Bethpage.Â
