INSIDE THE SERIES
Sunday's matchup against the Tribe will be the 45th matchup between the two programs. Hofstra holds the all-time series lead over William & Mary, 29-14-1. The first-ever meeting between the teams was all the way back in 1938 when the teams tied, 14-14. Last season, Hofstra dropped both ends of the series, first on January 5, 60-55 and later in the season on March 9 on the road, 83-72.
Earlier this season, the Tribe defeated Hofstra by a score of 66-53 at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. Junior guard
Ana Hernandez Gil and senior guard
Sandra Karsten led Hofstra with 11 and 10 points, respectively, while Karsten also led the team with seven boards. Victoria Reynolds and Eva Hodgson scored 23 points each for the Tribe.
A WIN OVER WILLIAM & MARY WOULD…

- Be the 718th known victory in the history of Hofstra women's basketball and 474th at the NCAA Division I level.
