Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's basketball team is aiming for its second-straight win as the Pride are set to travel to Stony Brook University on Monday afternoon. Tip-off against the Seawolves at Island Federal Credit Union Arena is at 4 p.m.
Sunday's game will be streamed live on ESPN3. In addition, live statistics and Pride Productions live audio will be available.
Hofstra (2-2) is coming off of a strong win against UAlbany, 63-45, last Friday. The Pride were very strong defensively, causing 25 turnovers while adding 11 steals and five blocks. In addition, the Pride held UAlbany to just six points in the second quarter and 29.1 percent shooting overall while limiting the Great Danes to 0-of-17 beyond the arc during the final 30 minutes of action.

JaKayla Brown paces Hofstra with 13.0 points per game.
Jahsyni Knight joins Brown in double figures with 12.0 points per contest, and
Jaylen Hines is third averaging 11.3 points per outing. Hines and
Jaala Henry grab a team-high 7.0 rebounds for the Pride while Knight dishes out 4.5 assists per game.
Stony Brook (1-2) last faced Manhattan on Dec. 8 and defeated the Jaspers, 65-52. Asiah Dingle is the only Stony Brook player to average double figures (1.30 ppg), and Anastasia Warren follows with 8.7 points and India Pagan is third in scoring with 8.0 points per game. Pagan also leads the team with 6.7 rebounds per game.
