MTEN: Hofstra Suffers Tough Loss To Drexel

Box Score Hempstead, NY - Drexel rallied from a 3-1 deficit, winning the final three singles flights to post a 4-3 win over the Pride Saturday. Gustav Wogen clinched the match at No. 6, with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Giacomo Pezzoli to finish the comeback.

Hofstra won the doubles point, then picked up wins from Marcus Smith (No. 1) and Jan Leitner (No. 3).

Drexel battled back as Alvaro Cruz Chamorro pulled out a 7-6, 7-3 win at No. 4 to make it a 3-2 match. Xandy Hammitt followed at No. 5 with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5 to set up the decisve match.

The Pride return to action Monday at home against Queens.
