To The Hofstra Community,

Where do we even start? When this journey started in October, none of us had any idea that it would take us to places we only imagined. This season was a dream and one of the most gratifying seasons in my coaching career. 

Our program is proud to represent Hofstra University and our student-athletes understood that each time they wore the blue and gold this season. This year, more than any other, representing our basketball program became more about representing our University. 

The incredible media attention we received this season during the magical win streak and multiple ESPN appearances shined a spotlight on our University unlike anything we have ever seen. It allowed our program to tell the story of Hofstra and how special a place it truly is. 

Speaking of special - our 14 student-athletes bought in from day one and that allowed us to have such a memorable year and win a school record 27 games. We had three extraordinary leaders in Desure, Justin and Eli - but all 14 guys did everything our staff asked and more. It was truly a team effort. 

But our true team was YOU. Without YOU, the Hofstra community, none of this would have been possible. We had the Mack Sports Complex ROCKING a bunch this year from our alumni, fans, and current students - you all showed up when we needed it the most. I can't begin to tell you how many alumni, fans, and current students I have heard from this year about how much fun it was to see the season we were having. We realize the role we play in bringing this community together and we don't take that lightly. We love representing YOU and we hope you love watching us and feeling like part of our team. 

Our seniors left an indelible mark on our program this season. Thank you Kenny, Danny, Jacquil, and Justin. Your mark on this program will never be forgotten. 

As we look forward to next year - we are excited about the group we have returning and the incoming student-athletes ready to join the Pride!

Our goals never change. We want to climb the ladder and cut down the nets as we celebrate a conference title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament. Our staff and student-athletes will come to work every day with that goal in mind. We know how much this means to you. 

In closing I just simply want to say one more thank you to the Hofstra community. Let's dream together!
