Philadelphia, PA - The Hofstra University Men's Tennis team closed out a string of four matches in three days with a 7-0 loss to Temple at the Legacy Tennis Center.

Hofstra saw a three-match win streak halted and fell to 10-5 on the season. The Owls moved to 6-6 on the year.

Temple swept doubles play though the team of Uladzimr Dorash and Paolo Cucalon did need a tiebreaker (7-6 {5}) to get past the Pride duo of
Marcus Smith and
Jan Leithner at the No. 2 flight.

In singles play,
Shawn Jackson took Mark Wallner to three sets at No. 2 before falling, 3-6, 6-3, 4-6.
Coco Haener also played a three-set match at No. 4, losing to Dorash, 7-6 (5), 2-6, 5-7.Â

Hofstra will return to action March 29 at Fairfield.Â
