A WIN OVER CLEVELAND STATE WOULD…

  • Be the 716th known victory in the history of Hofstra women's basketball and 472nd at the NCAA Division I level.

SCOUTING THE VIKINGS
Cleveland State enters the game with a 2-1 record on the year, falling to Bowling Green in its season-opener before defeating Davis & Elkins by a 110-41 margin. The Vikings began with a three-game New York swing on Saturday with a 79-49 win against Long Island University and will continue its three-game set at Hofstra and St. Bonaventure.

As a team, Cleveland State averages 86 points per game, led by senior Mariah Miller with 21 points per game through the first two contests. Junior Mariah White and freshman Taylah Levy average double figures as well, scoring 14.5 and 11.0 points, respectively. The Viking guards account for 73-percent of the team's scoring, averaging 62.5 points per game. Sophomore Savanna Crockett has been outstanding on the glass, hauling in 12 rebounds per game.

SCOUTING THE PRIDE
Hofstra (1-2) is entering Wednesday's matchup after falling to Long Island rival Stony Brook earlier this week. Freshman Sorella Ineza leads the Pride offensively, scoring 9.0 points and averaging 3.67 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. Redshirt junior Ana Hernandez Gil adds 8.0 points and redshirt sophomore Jaylen Hines chips in 7.3 points per game.
