Brianna Passaro each had strikes which hit the post. After Hofstra poured on five more shots within seven minutes, sophomore
Miri Taylor headed in a cross by Porter to extend the Hofstra lead to two just before halftime.
Two minutes out of the locker room, Hofstra added a third goal when junior
Sabrina Bryan gave a pass to junior
Lucy Shepherd inside the box for her fourth tally of the season. Freshman
Skylar Kuzmich made four total saves in net and the Pride allowed just one more Cougar shot for the remainder of the match to coast to victory.
