Milford, CT - Hofstra shot a team score of 322, the fourth lowest team score of the day, and finished fourth at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic at Great River Golf Club Monday afternoon.

Cameron Waltman was the Pride's top finisher, placing eighth at 159 (+15). Waltman had rounds of 79 (+7) and 80 (+8) during the two-day event.
Maya Torpey tied for 11th-place in the 46-player field at 162 (+18) following rounds of 79 (+7) and 83 (+11).

Cynthia Zhao and
Ana Sofia Rodriguez tied for 15th at 163 (+19). Zhao had scores of 81 (+9) and 82 (+10). Rodriguez, who played as an individual entrant, carded scores of 84 (+12) and 79 (+7) and jumped 11 spots on the leaderboard Monday.
Georgia Shevitt climbed 14 spots Monday after a final round 79 (+7) gave her a combined 165 (+21).Â

Averee Dovsek and
Emmah Federman tied for 22nd at 166 (+22). Dovsek moved up nine places after a final round 81 (+9), four shots better than her Sunday score. Federman, also playing as an individual, closed out her tournament with an 84 (+12) after carding an 82 (+10) on Sunday. Â

Hofstra had a two-day team score of 646 (+70). Hartford won the team title at 625 (+49), six strokes better than second-place Brown. Sacred Heart was third at 633 (+57). Merrimack (656, +80) placed fifth, LIU (678, +102) was sixth, and Fairfield (728, +152) was seventh.

Kailee Welch of Sacred Heart was the individual medalist at 149 (+5). Welch had the low round of the day at 74 (+2) to move up a spot and claim the title. First round leader Maria Loza of Hartford was second at 150 (+6).Â

The Sacred Heart Fall Classic concluded the fall season for the Pride. Hofstra returns to action February 17-18 at the Purple Eagle Winter Invitational in Kissimmee, Florida.Â
