Milford, CT - Maya Torpey and Cameron Waltman each shot 79 (+7) Sunday and are tied for ninth place after one round of the Sacred Heart Invitational at Great River Golf Club. Hofstra is fifth out of seven teams at the tournament.

In addition to Torpey and Waltman, Cynthia Zhao is tied for 16th at 81 (+9), Averee Dovsek is tied for 31st at 85 (+13), and Georgia Shevitt is tied for 33rd at 86 (+14). Hofstra also had two individual entrants in the 46-player field. Emmah Federman is tied for 20th at 82 (+10) and Ana Sofia Rodriguez is tied for 26th at 84 (+12).

The Pride shot a team score of 324 (+36) and is 20 strokes behind first round leader Hartford. Maria Loza of Hartford is the individual leader at 73 (+1).
